Developing nations generate 250 grams of waste per capita per day, whereas developed nations generate 2000 grams or more per capita per day.

Basically, the basic contents of original material & waste are almost same. The difference is the usability. If the resource recovery from waste is achieved, lot of natural resources can be saved.
